多少人曾爱慕你年轻时的容颜，只有一人还爱你年老时眼角的皱纹！(2)

在读到这段王道乾先生翻译的被王小波反复称赞的文字时，我立刻想到了爱尔兰人叶芝的名作：

When you are old?

And slowly read,and dream of the soft look?

情人节，玫瑰，巧克力，在寒冷的初春，街头的每个少男少女都洋溢着难以言表的春色，在这热情如火的年纪，他们挥霍着似乎永远不会老去的青春。年少时的爱，是真正的爱吗？我捧着笔记本，手指放在键盘上沉思。

叶芝曾用毕生深爱茅德·冈，她拒绝了他，在她身边云集的追求者中，绝望的叶芝写下了这样首诗：“How many loved your moments of glad grace，But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you ”。

在你手如柔荑肤如凝脂的年纪，默默注视你的绽放，当你满脸写满沧桑的时候，却走到你的面前，告诉你他是多么的爱你这备受摧残的面容。

我不懂法语，不清楚王道乾先生的译文是否能精准的表达了杜拉斯的神韵，后来我又读了先生翻译的其他的杜拉斯的作品，那柔软的文笔，那细腻的情感，我甚至怀疑这必然是优雅的女性翻译家的大作，王道乾先生用中文重新创作了杜拉斯的作品。
